Let's start with a simple example, and we'll see how we can fix all this.

Let's take a mission for Zombicide V2 and a simple tile: the 5V tile.

Next, we install the first door, a red door. You may notice that the door in question does not align properly with the wall. If this does not bother you, then great, just continue editing and stop reading this tutorial.
Otherwise, it is possible to “fine-tune,” meaning that it is possible to adjust the various elements of the game board more precisely. Please note, however, that as usual, this depends on what the package creator has decided.
Press the “I” key to switch to inspection mode, which allows you to fine-tune the position of your item. The mode is indicated in the status bar, but more importantly, the cursor changes to an arrow with a question mark ().

If you click on the door , the Inspector window will open.
. This window allows you to adjust certain settings for certain items, or simply to control the various elements placed in this location, delete them, or copy them.

Let's continue with our door: we want to adjust it and position it correctly on the wall. Click on the door item in the list provided by the inspector. and you notice that the item in question is circled in green in the editing area.
, which means that you will now be working on the door.
You notice that an area has appeared on the right , where you have settings. From top to bottom, you will find the tools, the ZOrder, which we will not discuss here, and the up/down and left/right offsets.
If you want to move your door UP (which is the case here; remember that the item placed on the game board has been rotated; refer to the reference image at the bottom left), simply enter a value and your item will move by the number of pixels requested.

In this case, moving it down by 5 and to the right by 5 places the door more attractively on the game board, in a more harmonious way. It is now aligned with the wall on which it is placed and stands out a little more from the horizontal wall.
That's not all the inspector will allow you to do: you can change the ZOrder (again, let's leave that aside for later) or manipulate items.

There is a toolbar on the right side of the Inspector that allows you to delete a specific item (once selected), cut it, or copy it. This is particularly useful if you want to retrieve an item that is stuck between several other items, such as a slice of ham in a sandwich.
