When editing, you may want to rotate an item, for example, in order to place it in the best position on the board, or you may want to know the basic keyboard shortcuts to make your life easier? We will cover all of this in this section.

When placing a token, such as the zombie spawn token shown here , you can rotate the element to position it optimally.

A simple right click rotates the selected piece 90 degrees. The spawn point can therefore be rotated before being repositioned once the correct angle has been selected. Note that the status bar gives you not only the name of the selected element but also its current orientation.

Keep in mind that, like almost everything else, the available rotation angles are set by the package, and therefore by its author. For example, in Zombicide V2, it is impossible to adjust the orientation of survivor entry points or the tokens representing them. This same rotation may be limited; one can imagine certain specific items that can only be positioned at 0 or 180 degrees, for example.
